Delete your Gav App account

How to request deletion
- Click the button below, or email [[EMAIL]] with the subject Delete my Gav App account.
- Write the mobile number you registered with and your name and village, so we can find your account.
- We will confirm that the request is really from you, for example by sending an OTP to that mobile number or calling you.
- After confirmation we delete your account. We aim to finish within 30 days and will tell you when it is done.
What is deleted
- Your profile: mobile number, name, gender, date of birth, district, taluka, village, ward and profile photo.
- Your posts, reels, stories, comments, likes, chat messages and uploaded photos, videos and documents.
- Your listings (animals, marketplace, local business, jobs) and job applications.
- Your complaints and your pending certificate, scheme and tax applications.
- Your login sessions on all devices.
What may be kept
Records that the Gram Panchayat must keep by law or for official accounts, such as certificates already issued and tax entries or payment records, may be retained, with your personal details limited to what that record requires. Basic server logs and backups are removed on their normal cycle, usually within 90 days.
This cannot be undone. Once your account is deleted you will have to register again to use the app, and your data cannot be restored.
